Patsy Darlene (Hurley) Meadows

Patsy Hurley Meadows, age 69, of Sanford, NC passed away at her sister’s house on Sunday, December 8, 2024, with her family by her side having been under Hospice care for a short time.

She was born in Lee County to the late Euyless Grant Hurley and Elsie Jenkins Hurley.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Ronald Hurley, Gerald Hurley and Randy Hurley.  She is survived by her daughter Jenny Lynn Meadows; sister Sandra Hurley and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Patsy was a 1976 graduate of Deep River High School and worked many years for Cherokee Brick, Coty and Eaton.  She was a loving member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2024, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home. The family will also be receiving friends at Sandra Hurley’s home, 704 McLeod Drive, Sanford, NC 27330. A funeral service will be held Thurday, December 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Houston Blair officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
