Melanie Rollerson Pauley entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 25, 2022.
Born in Queens, New York, she was the daughter of the late Roberta I. Rollerson and Robert W. Wyndham. Melanie was a graduate of Benjamin Cardozo High School, Queens, New York, Class of 1985, and received her associate’s degree from Drake Business College in New York. After attending college, she started her career at American Airlines where she worked as a dedicated Customer Service Agent for over thirty years.
Melanie was a loving, caring devoted wife, mother, “Nana” and friend. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Kevin Pauley on December 3, 2004.
Leaving to cherish her memory and legacy are her devoted husband, Kevin Pauley, and four beloved children; two sons, Brandon Evans (Niqua) and Skylar Pauley, and two daughters, Mia Pauley and Ocean Pauley; grandsons, Josiah and Isaiah Evans; her extended family in love; father in law, Russell Pauley, mother in law, Deborah Mabry, brother in law, Bruce Mabry, sister in law, Jeanlena Pauley all of Cameron, NC; one brother, Ian Wyndham (Joy); two sisters Zapora Delesline (Derrin) and Tami Cooke (Ronald); three aunts; Veronica Johnson, Deborah Harris (Greg) and Pat Hiott; godmother, Richardene Thomas; special friends, Reva Moore-White (Eugene White), Robert James and Ed Dabney; godchildren Nikia, Michael and Mikye Gilbert, Katie and Nick Dabney along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening, September 30, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Bridges- Cameron Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Stephen the First Martyr Roman Catholic Church, 901 N. Franklin Drive, Sanford, NC 27330 at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Interment at Plain Lawn Cemetery, Hicksville, New York. The New York service dates and times are pending at this time.
