Mary Turner (Mitchell) Farrell

Mary “Turner” Mitchell Farrell, age 90, of the Deep River Community in Sanford, NC, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Turner was born in Stokes County, NC to the late Mr. and Mrs. T.W. Mitchell.

She loved children.  She helped with all the youth programs at Zion Christian Church for 15 years or more.  Everyone called her “Granny Turner”.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Farrell and all of her loving family.

A graveside service will be held at Zion Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM.  There will be no formal visitation, but you are welcome to visit at the family home.
