Mary Deanna (Sharpe) Valle

Mary Deanna Sharpe Valle, age 79, of Sanford, NC, died Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Liberty Commons Retirement Center.

She was born in Lee County, NC on March 15, 1941 to the late Ben Joe Sharpe and Mae Frances Gilmore Sharpe.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Penny Gunter.  Mary Deanna was one of ten children; brothers, Frankie Sharpe and Van Sharpe also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son Luis Antonio Valle, II of Sanford; siblings Becky Kelly, Donna Bryant, sister-in-law Mary Sue Sharpe, Linda Cox Sharpe; Frances Kelly and husband Donald, Jenny Kennedy, Patty Stone and husband Jimmy, Jackie Tart and husband Larry and Benny Sharpe; grandchildren Macy, Corbin, Jensen and Calley.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Swann Station Baptist Church with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM with Rev. Russell Blackmon officiating.  Burial will follow at Cameron Grove Cemetery.
