Mary Lou (Loving) Yow

Mary Lou Loving Yow, age 75, of Sanford, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born in Rockingham County, on Oct. 10, 1943, to the late Frank Jones Loving and Jesse Louella Thomas Loving.  Mary Lou worked at First Federal Bank as a Head Teller.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers James Richard Loving and Charles Edwin “Eddie” Loving.

Mrs. Yow is survived by her husband, Tony L. Yow of the home; a son, Jonathan Yow and wife Jodie of Sanford; two daughters Beverly Jo Thompson and husband Denny of Sanford and Toni Lynn Ross and husband John of Sanford; a brother Tommy Loving and wife Judy of Cameron; grandchildren Joshua Moore, Felicia Auer, Derrick Ross, Hunter Ross, Bailey Smith, and Anna Yow; step grandchildren, Brandon Thompson, Brittany Thompson Jonathon Ross, and Tanner West; great grandchildren, Kendal Serrano, Kamryn Auer, Buddy Auer, and Paisley Yow; and step-great-grandchildren, Joey Dowless, Luke Dowless and Piper Thompson.

The family will receive friends Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, from 5-8PM at Cameron Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, Oct 21st, 3PM at Cameron Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Crain’s Creek Cemetery.
