Mary (Rogers) Rose

Mary Rogers Rose, age 92, of Sanford, NC, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 21, 2022, surrounded by family.  She was a devoted “mother” to all those around her.

 She was born in Harnett County to the late Joseph Nolan Rogers and Sophia Thomas Rogers.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Junnie M. Rose; a brother, Nolan Kelly Rogers and sister, Sarah Esteen Thomas

She is survived by a brother, Joe Kenneth Rogers; four children, Chris Benton (Page), Tony Sloan (Joanne), Mary “Sue” Bullard (Tim), and Mark Rose (Nicole); eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Buffalo Cemetery with Rev. Robert Thomas officiating.  Friends are invited to come by Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home on Sunday, July 24, 2022, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM and/or Monday, July 25, 2022, from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM to sign the register book and honor Mary.
