Mary (Ragland) McNeill

Mary Ragland McNeill, April 14, 1934, to March 12, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin McNeill; father, James Marvin Ragland; mother, Beulah Campbell Ragland Holt along with brothers, Elbert Ragland, James Ragland and sister, Estelle Cameron.

She is survived by sons, Steve (Shelia), Ted (Christine); daughter, Kathy Gall (Titus); brother, John Ragland (Alice); grandchildren, Ryan, Robert, Johannes and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Landon, Riley, Adelide, Dylan and Olivia and numerous nephews and nieces.

Mary was a graduate of Benhaven High School where she later worked in the school cafeteria until retiring.  The job she loved most was as mother and homemaker where she raised her children sharing her love of Jesus Christ.  She was a member of Olivia Presbyterian Church, Cameron Hill Presbyterian Church and a founding member of Countryside Presbyterian Church.  She loved her church family and they continued to return that love to her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 2:50 PM at Countryside Presbyterian Church and other times at the home of Steve McNeill.  The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM with Rev. Dave Kinney officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Special thanks to her niece, Gayle Rawls for the many home visits and daily phone conversations of comfort and encouragement.
