Marianne Faucette (Murchison) Graham

Marianne Faucette Murchison Graham passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24th and is now gone to be with her Lord and Savior and her beloved husband of 50+ years, Dan Alexander Graham Sr. 

Marianne was born December 6th, 1934 in Lillington, NC to the late James Black and Mary Faucette Murchison of Bunnlevel, NC.   Marianne attended and graduated from Lillington High School in 1953 where she was an avid cheerleader, member of the Beta Club and a Senior class officer.   Upon graduating high school, she attended Campbell College and studied accounting.  

Marianne is survived by her three sons, Dan Alexander Graham Jr. of Sanford (Susan), Anthony Carol Graham of Little River (Michael), and James Henry Graham of Charlotte (Connie).  In addition, she has four grandchildren; Anthony Graham, Virginia Madorin, Lindsay Graham, James Graham, and three great-grandchildren; Nicolas and Maddy Graham, and Graham Madorin.  

Marianne was always active up into her later years and she and her beloved Dan enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  They spent a lot of their time at their beach place in Surf City, enjoying the coast and the relaxation that came with it.    She and Dan had many happy adventures together, traveling both local and abroad, and a host of fond memories.  

Marianne was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Sanford, and very much enjoyed their Sunday Services.   She also tried to never miss the daily exercise classes the church hosts for their seniors and truly loved the camaraderie of being with others.   She had a core group of friends who enjoyed coffee dates, daily adventures, and taking care of each other that she loved and enjoyed dearly.

In lieu of flowers, donations and memorials may be made in her name to First Baptist Church of Sanford, 202 Summitt Drive, Sanford, NC 27330.

Due to the current situation of events, a private memorial service for family only will be held at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home, and a Celebration of Life for extended friends and family as timing and circumstances permit.  We will make everyone aware of details at that later time.
