Margaret (Brewer) Miller

Margaret Brewer Miller, age 96, of New Hill, NC, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Sanford Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born in Lee County on May 18, 1925 to the late William Thomas Brewer and Carrie Hughes Brewer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Floyd Stamey Olinger and E.J. Miller and eight brothers and sisters.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her daughters Ruth Ellis of New Hill and Linda Page and husband Edward of New Hill; sister Thelma Medlin of Carthage; grandchildren Larry Ellis, Ronnie Page, Lisa Young and Kay Williams; great-grandchildren Kristy, Stacy, Josh, Morgan, Bryden, Shannon, Bobby, Haley and Andrew and great-great-grandchildren Hannah, Natalie, Nathan and Kaia.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM at New Elam Christian Church Cemetery with Pastor Val Chadwick officiating.
