Margaret (Rogers) McBryde

Margaret Rogers McBryde, age 83, of Sanford, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Sanford Health & Rehabilitation.

Margaret was born in Sanford, North Carolina on December 3, 1940 to the late John Rogers and Alma Powers Rogers. She was also preceded in death by her son, Scott Quick; brothers, Roy Rogers, Marvin Rogers and Charles Powers; sister, Ruth Smith and grandson, Darrell Griggs.                     

Margaret worked many years at GKN manufacturing. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and playing the piano. She was a member of Sanford Freewill Holiness Church. She loved her family and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by a daughter, Sherry Thomas of Broadway, NC; son, Darrell Quick of Broadway, NC; sisters, Bertha Hicks, Pearl Castleberry (Carl); brother, Johnny Rogers (Betty);  sister-in law, Carol Rogers; grandchildren, Dustin Thomas (Marlenne), Abby Thomas, Haylee Quick, Joseph Griggs, Justin Mashburn; great-grandchildren, Baylee Thomas, Damian Griggs and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 15th, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 3:00 PM.
