Lynn Davis Rosser

Lynn Davis Rosser, age 74, of Sanford, NC, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Sanford Health & Rehabilitation.

He was born Taylor County, Texas on October 27, 1950 to the late Norman Davis Rosser and Donnagene Johnson Rosser.  Lynn was a man of strong faith and was quiet and humble.  He was a God fearing man who did great works for his church, Sanford Community Church. He enjoyed mowing and fixing things around the church.

Lynn worked many years as a tank mechanic for the NC National Guard and Civil Service. He also worked for Pentair and a few local auto dealerships.  His favorite NASCAR driver was Dale Earnhardt and he also enjoyed watching dirt-track racing.  He loved his family more than anything and will be missed by all who loved him.

He is survived by his wife, of almost 55 years, Hilda Rhodes Rosser; sons Anthony Rosser and wife Kellie, Kenneth Rosser and wife Lisa and grandchildren Taylor, Savanna, Phebe and Joshua.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sanford Community Church and other times at the family home.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Danny Carrillo and Tommy McNeill officiating.  Burial will follow at Buffalo Cemetery.
