Lucille (Pace) Douglas

Lucille Pace Douglas, age 79, of Broadway, N.C., passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, June 27, 2022.

She was born in Harnett County, N.C., on March 11, 1943 to the late Howard Pace and Dannie Haire Pace.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Gerald Wayne Douglas; brother Odell Pace, and sister Evelyn Cranford.  Mrs. Douglas was the previous owner of House of Lights of Sanford.

Surviving relatives include, a son Jody Douglas and Stacy of Broadway; a daughter Jackie Douglas Adams and Matt of Wellesley, Mass.; brothers, Eldridge Pace and Linda, Edward Pace and Pat, and H.T. Pace and Claudia of Olivia; four grandchildren, Cade Douglas, Cole Adams, Tav Douglas, and Reese Adams; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who were all precious to her.

There will be a graveside service at Barbecue Presbyterian Church cemetery Friday, July 15, 2022, 11AM with Rev. Bucky Holmes and Pastor David Sherrod officiating.
