Lisa Jo (Cook) Barrett

Lisa Jo Cook Barrett, 55, of Sanford, NC, died Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Central Carolina Hospital.

Lisa was born in Lee County, on Jan. 1, 1965, to Ann Baker Cook and the late Joe Bill Cook.  She worked as an Office Manager for a fast food company.  Mrs. Barrett is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lois Cooper Baker, Nathan James Baker, and paternal grandparents, Margie Key Cook Freeman, and Claude Lacey Cook.

Surviving relatives include her mother, Ann Baker Cook; her husband John David Barrett; daughters, Jennifer Anne Daw and Eric of Sanford, and Mary Beth Bender and Louie of Sanford; sisters, Ginger Keith and Tony of Cameron and Carrie Hall and Michael of Sanford; grandchildren, Eric Daw, Jr., Joshua Daw, Lisa Daw, John Daw, Debbie Daw, Billy Daw, Elizabeth Bender-Barrett, and Sarah Bender.

The body may be viewed at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home on Friday, Aug. 21, 2020, from 2PM until 5PM.  A graveside service will be held at Lemon Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Sat., Aug. 22, 2020, 10AM with Pastor Andy Foley presiding.
