Linda Charlene Tillotson

Linda Charlene Tillotson, 69 of Cameron, NC passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

She was born in Lee County on September 11, 1952, to the late Charles Tillotson and Beatrice Blake Tillotson Stout.

She grew up in Ozark, Alabama where she spent most of her life, returning to Sanford after her mother’s death to live with her Aunt Minnie Blake Scott who was like a second mother to Linda.

 Linda was a fun-loving person who loved her family and friends. She loved days out shopping and dining at local restaurants. Chinese cuisine was her favorite. Linda loved to color pictures in her pastime and shared many of her beauties with family and friends. She also loved to fish and spend time around the family pond.

Linda attended Sanford Community Church where she was a member. 

 Linda is survived by her sister Kathy and husband Levon Cameron; nieces Cindy & husband Chris McCormick, Crystal & husband Charles Harwell and Candice & husband Travis Buchanan; three great nieces, three great nephews; one great great niece and two great great nephews.

She is also survived by her closest family her Aunt Minnie Scott and her cousins Adam and Kevin Godfrey and their families; her dearest friend Dot Stack and lastly her faithful dog, “Juju”. Obviously, Linda will be truly missed.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Bridges - Cameron Funeral Home with Reverend Randy Buchanan, Reverend Jerry Holder and Reverend Hilda Rosser officiating.
