Lester Robert Hall

Lester Robert Hall, age 83, of Lemon Springs, NC, passed away peacefully at his home on October 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy illness.

Lester was born on June 5, 1942, in Lee County, NC, to the late Sandy and Mary Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters; four brothers; his son, Tommy Hall; grandson, Ricky Godfrey; and son-in-law, Marshall Holmes.

Lester is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Mary Margaret Gaines Hall; daughters, Janice Holmes and Crystal Hall; and son, Robert Hall, and his wife, Charli. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Jennifer Buckner, Kaite Langston, Kelly Blakley, Christy Orozco, Leslie Allen, Peyton Hall, and Karson Hall. He was also a cherished great-grandfather to nine great-grandchildren.

Lester will be remembered for his love of family, his strength, and his gentle spirit. His presence brought warmth and comfort to all who knew him, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those he loved most.

A memorial service will be held at the Bridges & Cameron Funeral Home on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Wade Allen officiating.  The family will gather for a time of fellowship at the family home following the service.
