Laura Ann Dalrymple, 68, passed away Friday morning in Chapel Hill, surrounded by the love of family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Laura was the beloved daughter of William C. Dalrymple and Alicia J. Dalrymple and the oldest of four children. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings, Sharon Keating, Billy Dalrymple, and Lisa Dalrymple, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love.
Laura was truly one of a kind. She had a deep love for all animals and a gentle heart that showed kindness wherever she went. She was a genuine person whose warmth and sincerity made others feel comfortable and loved. Laura loved to laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor that could brighten even the hardest days.
Laura was also very artistic and creative. She loved to draw and work with ceramics and had a remarkable talent for color. Whether through her artwork or her ceramic creations, she had a special eye for combining colors in beautiful and meaningful ways. Her creativity was a gift that brought joy to both herself and those around her.
Some of her favorite pastimes were watching old movies and television shows with her mother. The moments they shared were deeply treasured and brought her comfort and happiness throughout her life.
Christmas was Laura’s favorite time of year. She loved being surrounded by family during the holidays, creating memories filled with laughter, warmth, and togetherness. Those moments meant the world to her, and her love for family was felt deeply by everyone around her.
