Lacy Tyler Wicker, age 39, of Bel Air, MD (formerly of Sanford, NC) passed away Monday, March 23, 2026 at his father’s house.
He was born in Moore County, NC on November 10, 1986 to Thomas Mark Wicker and Elizabeth “Beth” Stranko Pierce. Tyler worked in construction and was a talented handyman who would help anyone who needed it. He was recently engaged to Renee who he loved dearly. Tyler was an avid outdoorsman and loved working his garden, animals and especially dogs. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Tyler is survived by his mother Elizabeth “Beth” Stranko Pierce and husband Greg; father Thomas Mark Wicker; fiancé Renee Wheeler; step-mother Lisa Wilkins Wicker; brothers Adam Wicker and wife Dana, Bronson Pierce; sister Alayna Wicker; nephews Jonathan Wicker, Ethan Wicker, Conner Wicker and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal-grandparents John & Dee Orum and paternal-grandparents L.T. & Jessie Wicker.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home and other times at Tyler’s father’s or mother’s homes.
