Kim Yvette (Thomas) Rives

Kim Yvette Thomas Rives, age 64, of Sanford, NC, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024 at her home.

She was born in Lee County on September 11, 1959 to Waylon Blue Thomas and Faye Smith Hall.  Kim was preceded in death by her father; daughter Heather Whitehead and brother Tony Thomas.  She was a home health nurse for many years and had a dedication to the patients and families she served. She loved going to the beach and mountains and enjoyed watching classic TV.  She will be missed by her family and friends.

Kim is survived by her mother, Faye Smith Hall; husband Larry Rives; daughter Tiffany Whitehead; brother Wilbur Darrell Thomas; special niece Gina Thompson and grandchildren Nevaeh Skowronski and Riley Whitehead.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 6, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jimmy Talton officiating.
