Kevin Ray Woody

Kevin Ray Woody, age 37, of Cameron, NC, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021.

He was born in Orange County, NC on May 20, 1984 to Billy Ray Woody, Jr. and Lorianne Collins.  Kevin’s father preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Robert and Beatrice Collins and paternal grandfather Billy Ray Woody, Sr.  Kevin was talented working with his hands.  He could work construction and work on cars.  He was a jack-of-all-trades but master-of-none.

He is survived by his mother, Lorianne Collins of Spring Lake, NC; two children Kevin and Jonah; brother Jason Woody of Carthage; sister Crystal Johnson and husband Matthew of Sanford and nine nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Monday, October 4, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home of Crystal and Matthew Johnson, 536 Farrell Rd., Sanford, NC.
