Kevin Howard Luck

Kevin Howard Luck, age 45, of the Deep River Community in Lee County, NC, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022.

He was born in Lee County, NC on May 14, 1976 to Thomas “Tom” Howard Luck and Gail Porter Luck.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother Nathan Luck and wife Paige of Cary; niece Isabel Luck of Cary; family friend Ned Darr of Asheville and numerous cousins and extended family.

Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal-grandparents John W. and Lona S. Luck;  maternal-grandparents Rev. James and Helena Porter and an uncle Clyde Walton Luck.

Kevin was a life-long member of Flat Springs Baptist Church and was a graduate of Lee County Senior High School and received his B.S. Degree in Information Technology from University of Phoenix where he excelled and graduated with Honors.  Kevin worked as a computer technician for Central Carolina Community College and most recently worked for Lee County Government Social Services I.T. Department.  He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Flat Springs Baptist Church with Dr. Gary McCollough officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends following all the services, in the church fellowship hall and other times in the family home.
