Kevin Darrell Godfrey

Kevin Darrell Godfrey, age 55, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at his home where he resided with his mother. 

Kevin is the son of Minnie Blake Godfrey Scott and the late Johnny “Pete” Godfrey.  In addition to his father, Kevin was preceded in death by his brother Greg Godfrey, his sister Jewell Godfrey and his step-father James Scott.

Kevin is survived by his daughter Tiffany Godfrey Strong and husband Silas; three grandchildren, Jayella, Aryella and Jerrell Strong; mother Minnie Godfrey Scott; brother Adam Godfrey and wife Teresa; step-sister Pamela Scott; four nephews; several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins and friends.

Kevin enjoyed life to the fullest.  He was a quiet and generous person who loved his family and friends.  He loved NASCAR racing, natural light, 4-wheeling and deer hunting, but his greatest love was his daughter Tiffany and his grandchildren.  Kevin will be missed greatly and forever leave an empty spot in the hearts of all who loved him.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Lemon Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Hilda Rosser and Pastor Jerry Holder officiating. There will be no formal visitation, however for those who wish to pay their respects and sign the register you may come by Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home on Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM,
