Kelly J. (Foster) Branson

Kelly Jo Foster Branson, 58, of Sanford, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on April 18, 2026. She was born on June 11, 1967, in Greenfield, Indiana.

Kelly was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by Her Husband James Branson, her three children from a previous marriage: her daughter, Heidi Bailey (Jeremy Baber) of Sanford, North Carolina; her son, Justin Bailey of Rushville, Indiana; and her daughter, Hope Weaver of Greenfield, Indiana. She is also survived by her two beloved grandchildren, Waylon and Camillia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

Kelly dedicated her life to her family, her church, and her many creative passions. She had a love for crafting, sewing, and working in her yard, and she found joy in cooking large meals for her family and anyone else in need of a warm plate. She especially loved the beach and cherished the time she spent there.

Known for her kind and welcoming spirit, Kelly never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her generosity and warmth touched the lives of many.

Kelly will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will carry her memory in their hearts always.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
