Kathy Lynn (Johnson) Aly

Kathy Lynn Aly, age 67, of Broadway, NC, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025 at FirstHealth Hospice House in West End, with her family by her side. She was born in Lee County on January 6, 1958 to the late Ruby McGehee Poukka and Harold Johnson. In addition to her parents,  she was preceded in death by her step-father, Dennis Poukka; her son, Anthony Curtis Sloan Jr. and sister, Sandra Bergman. She is survived by her daughter Jenny Sloan Williams (Mike); grandchildren Courtney Martinez, Harley Williams, and Luke Williams; great-grandchildren Hestia Martinez and Ermes Martinez; sister Belinda Thomas (Randy) and brother James “Newt” Johnson. Kathy was fondly called “Memaw” by her family. Kathy loved the  snow, hummingbirds and more than anything she loved her family.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 20th, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Broadway Cemetery.
