Kathryn "Kathy" (Burr) Walden

Kathryn “Kathy” Walden, age 61, of Sanford, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at home.

She was born in Middletown, Connecticut, on January 4, 1964, to the late Stanley Burr and Marsha Sandstrom.

She was an accomplished chef, an excellent business manager, and a creative thinker who loved expressing herself. She was full of life and love and cared deeply for her close friends and relatives. She was a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

Kathy is survived by her mother, Marsha; husband, Jeffery; sister, Joyce; brother, Budd; son, Josh; stepson, Jonathan; stepdaughter, Sondra; and grandchildren.

In keeping with Kathy’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
