Judy Kay (Arnold) Blauwkamp

Judy Arnold Blauwkamp, age 76, of Sanford, NC, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the SECU Hospice House, Smithfield, NC.

She was born in Lee County. She was proceeded in death by her parents  Jesse James Arnold and Robena Wicker Arnold, brother James Arnold, sister Peggy Arnold West, stepson Timothy Blauwkamp.

Judy retired after 23 years as a Data Entry Specialist with the Lee County Sherriff’s Department.  She enjoyed  music, pottery, gardening, painting and was an avid reader.  She will be remembered as a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.                

She is survived by her husband of 40 years Simon Blauwkamp; son John Christopher ( Chris) Weldon (Crystal) of Broadway, NC; daughters Charity Ann Weldon of Surf City, NC; Tina Nicole Weldon of Wilmington, NC;  Natasha Blauwkamp Rose ( David) of Sanford, NC; brother Robert Wesley Arnold ( Jennie) of Broadway, NC; sister Barbara Jean Rubin of Sanford, NC.  Five grandchildren, Seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Bridges & Cameron Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.  The Memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM with Rev. Paul Backlund officiating.
