Juanita (Lamm) Crissman

Juanita Lamm Crissman, age 89, of Sanford, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.

She was born in Lee County, NC on June 11, 1931 to the late Nathaniel Lee Lamm and Leatha Godwin Lamm.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, “J.R.” John Robert Crissman; brother, Earl Lamm and sister, Margie Thomas.  She was a long-time member of Swann Station Baptist Church where she served as choir director for many years.   She was retired from GKN.

Juanita is survived by her son, John Robert Crissman, Jr. and wife, Shirley of Sanford; brother, Wallie C. Lamm and wife, Janice of Sanford; three grandchildren, Nicole Crissman, Jonathan Crissman and Misty Goldston; one great-grandchild, Savannah Goldston and many special nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Swann Station Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Blackmon officiating.  Burial will follow in Cameron Grove Cemetery.  Friends may visit Bridges-Cameron Funeral home on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 4:45 pm to sign the register.
