Joshua Scott Clifford, age 25, of Sanford, NC, entered his heavenly home on Saturday, May 25, 2024.
Joshua was greeted by many family members and friends and welcomed by Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Joshua never met a stranger. He accepted people as they are and welcomed them with his contagious smile. He fought his long, hard battle with bravery, dignity, and perseverance, never letting it stop him from living a full and happy life. Now, his battle is over, and he is resting, healed, and free.
Joshua is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Earl and Betty Jo Smith; paternal grandparents: Frank and Helen Smith; one special uncle: Waitman Brown; and many friends he made during his Cockayne Syndrome journey.
Joshua leaves to cherish his memories: his father, Micheal Clifford of Sanford, NC; his mother, Kimberly Kruger and Stewart Kruger, both of Sanford, NC; three brothers, James Dillard, Brandon Clifford, and Tyler Kruger, all of Sanford, NC; one sister, Jordan Kruger of Sanford, NC; five nephews and one niece; three special caregivers, Lisa Harrington of Rockingham, NC, Marsha Nguyen of Hamlet, NC, and Yolanda Davis of Rockingham, NC; his Floyd L. Knight family and his Challenger’s family. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom he loved spending time with and deeply cherished.
Joshua's life was a testament to the power of love, courage, and unwavering faith. His legacy of kindness and joy will forever inspire all who were blessed to know him.
