Joseph Lee Baker

Joseph Lee Baker, age 49, of Sanford, NC, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020.

He was born in Lee County on August 3, 1970 to Wilbur Lee Baker and Bobbie Castleberry Baker.  Joseph’s father preceded him in death.  He was a member of Pocket Presbyterian Church and attended Euphronia Presbyterian Church.  Joseph was a truckdriver for Steel & Pipe Corporation and enjoyed golf, carpentry, and hunting.  His favorite sports were baseball and Dallas Cowboy’s football and classic rock was his favorite music.

He is survived by his mother Bobbie Castleberry Baker; son Jacob Austin Baker; daughter Kamryn Womble Baker; their mother Kimberly Womble Baker; sister Patricia Baker Coleman and husband Mike; and three nephews Tyler John Coleman, Patrick Lee Coleman and Carey Graham Coleman. 

Funeral service will be Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Euphronia Presbyterian Church beside his late father.  The visitation will follow, all the services, in the fellowship hall of Euphronia Presbyterian Church and at other times at Bobbie’s home.
