Johnny Ray Hall

Johnny Ray Hall, age 77, of Sanford, NC, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022 at UNC Hospitals.

He was born in Randolph County, NC on November 24, 1944 to the late Albert Lee Hall and Lillie Louella Luther Hall.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Jordan Hall; sister Wilma Roberts, step-son Larry James Phillips and son-in-law Mike Miller.  Mr. Hall worked as a maintenance mechanic retiring from Tyson Foods after 17 ½ years of service.  He enjoyed tinkering with junk cars and was a jack-of-all-trades. 

He is survived by children Beverly Lynn Williams, Jeffrey Ray Hall, Timothy John Hall, Debbie Miller, Robert “Robbie” Lewis Phillips; sister Shirley Smith and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
