Jimmy Boyd Jones

Jimmy Boyd Jones, of Sanford, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 at his home.

He was born in Lee County to the late Roland Jones and Beaulah Stone Jones.  In addition to his parents he was preceeded in death by his three brothers, Jerry, Billy Ray, and Jerome Jones.  He was a heavy Equipment Operator.

Jimmy is survived by his wife Annie Godfrey Jones of the home;  children Geneva Cameron (Steve), Angie Wester (Scott), and Tracy Norris (Chad) all of Sanford; Joella Jones his sister-in-law of Goldston; nine grandchildren, Holly, Emily, Kristopher, Gracie, Eli, Bailey, Anna, Nolan, and Rylan; three great grandchildren, Micah, Ayden, and Paisley; and special friend Dean Buchanan.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 1 PM with Rev. Dale Sauls officiating.  Burial will follow for the family in the Lemon Springs Methodist Church Cemetery.
