Jerome Lynn Patterson

Jerome Lynn Patterson, age 69, of Broadway, NC, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Central Carolina Hospital in Hospice Comfort-Care.

Born in Montgomery, Alabama, Jerome was the son of the late John Frank Patterson and Elizabeth Taylor Patterson.

Jerome is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty Patterson; daughter, Elizabeth Long (Donald) of Broadway, NC; four wonderful grandchildren; Harrison, Hudson, Houston, and Hollynn Long. Brothers, Johnny Patterson (Deloris) of Broadway, NC; Scott Patterson (Jane) of Sanford, NC; sister-in-law Linda Greene (Randall Woodard) of Mountain City, Tenn. Randall was Jerome’s best friend and they had a great brotherly love.

He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

Family and friends will gather at Donald and Elizabeth Long’s home on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The family appreciated the comfort-care that was provided by Amedisys Hospice and Central Carolina Hospital.
