Jeremy Ross Gaddy

Jeremy Ross Gaddy, age 54, of Sanford, NC passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at his home, with his family by his side.

He was born in Lee County on September 2, 1971 to John Richard Gaddy and Peggy McDuffie Colvin.  His father preceded him in death.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Litha Tillman Gaddy, Frank Gaddy; step-father Otis Earl Colvin, III “Sonny”; and nephew Connor Thomas Gaddy.

He is survived by his mother Peggy McDuffie Colvin; sons Bobby Dean Crouch, Jordan Gaddy; brothers Christopher Thomas Gaddy, Otis Earl Colvin, IV and wife Melissa; devoted cousin Robin Ingold Nalley; nephews Otis Earl Colvin, V, (Quinn), Caiden Tristan Gaddy; nieces Isabelle James Gaddy, Kailynn Torres, Maelynn Torres; dog Molly and cat Toby.

Jeremy worked as an electrical contractor for many years, including Lee Electric.  He built computers and enjoyed tinkering on old stuff.  He loved his land and took pride in keeping it together for generations to come.  Most importantly, he was a very kind person and will be missed.

The family will have a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Euphronia Presbyterian Church with Pastor Keith Miller officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
