Jenny (Hall) Spainhour

Jenny Hall Spainhour, age 91, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 8, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Jenny was born on October 2, 1932, in Sanford, NC to the late Richard Lee Hall and Mary Inez Holder Hall.  Jenny graduated from Greenwood High School in 1950.  She later pursued a career as a Nurses Aid for over 25 years, retiring at age 88.  Jenny married the late Roy Lee Spainhour on June 11, 1955, and together they had one child.

Jenny was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She was blessed with a “servant’s heart” and loved the Lord.  Caring for others came naturally to Jenny.  She used her gift, helping and caring for countless families, including her own.  Jenny will be remembered for her sweet spirit, smile and love for Christ.  Most of all, she loved her family.

Jenny is survived by her daughter, Julie Spainhour Fleming and husband Israel; three grandchildren, Colton, Grayson and Aaron Fleming and one great-grandchild, Wyatt Lovell-Fleming.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the funeral home.  Burial will follow at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
