Jeffrey Lynn Ellis

Jeffrey Lynn Ellis, age 66, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026 after a long period of declining health.

He was born in Guilford County on May 16, 1959 to the late Bernard Ellis and Bobbie Ann Mills Ellis.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Richard and Keith Ellis.  Jeff worked many years in construction. He loved being around people. Friends, strangers, neighbors, chance encounters—no one stayed a stranger for long.

Jeff is survived by his brothers Scott Ellis of Asheboro and Steve Ellis (Charlene) of Holly Springs and sister Kim Nix of Asheboro.
