Janie Smith Obituary

Janie Mae Parker Smith, age 77, of Cameron, NC, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at her home.

She was born in Richmond County on October 21, 1942 to the late Sarius Parker and Julia May Teal Parker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ralph Smith; two sisters. Pat McCool and Alma Plowman and two brothers, Harold Parker and Howard Parker. Janie worked for many years at Static Control Components.

Janie is survived by her daughters, Lori Cody of Myrtle Beach, Sandra Smith Denkins of Cameron and Charlene Smith of North Myrtle Beach; two brothers, Edward Parker of Wadesboro and Lewis Parker of Rockingham; two sisters, Emma Smith of Thomasville and Christine Flick of Ohio; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and her fur baby, Angel.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Buffalo Cemetery.
