James "Joe" Roy Cameron

James “Joe” Roy Cameron, age 66, of Cameron, NC passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at FirstHealth Hospice.

He was born in Cameron, NC on August 25, 1958, to the late Joe Roy Cameron and Martha Eugenia Underwood Cameron.   

Joe was a gifted craftsman, whose life-long work in woodworking and carpentry left a lasting impact on the community. Joe enjoyed preforming repairs for neighbors and friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his nephew and watching him grow.

He is survived by his brother Mike Cameron (Lesa Pierce-Cameron) of Stokesdale, NC; nephew Brennan Cameron, of Fuquay Varina, NC; niece Sidney Cameron of High Point, NC.

A Graveside service will held Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Cypress Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Reverend Corrina Gambrell officiating.
