James Robinson Obituary

James Claude Robinson, age 72, of Cameron, NC, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022 at his home.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 25, 1949 to the late James Robinson and Mabel Thelma Wilkins Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Scott Robinson. Mr. Robinson served our country in the United States Air Force and Army. He was a canine officer for the Camden New Jersey Police Department. Upon moving to North Carolina he was a patrol officer for Pender County Sheriff’s Office.

He is survived by his wife Linda Wilson Robinson; children Curtis Robinson of Philadelphia, Dianna Robinson of New Jersey, Jason Robinson, Kelly Robinson, Kyle Robinson of North Carolina; siblings Curtis Massie of Philadelphia, Kathy Simms of Philadelphia, Vincent Massie of North Carolina; step-children Jadelynn Young and Jasmine Young of Cameron, NC; special caregiver Curtis Young of Cameron, NC; “adopted-daughter” Marie Baker of Cameron, NC and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

All services will be held in New Jersey.
