Hobert Theadore Sheffield

Hobert Theadore Sheffield, age 87, of Sanford, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Moore County on June 14, 1933 to the late Kenneth Sheffield and Rosie Morgan Sheffield.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Grace Herring Sheffield; three sisters and two brothers.  Mr. Sheffield worked for many years at Trion. 

He is survived by sons, Michael Sheffield and wife, Pattie of Sanford, Lacy Sheffield and wife, Jackie of Goldston and Gary Sheffield and wife, Kathy of Sanford; daughters, Veanas Ward of Harpers Crossroads, Carol Sheffield of Southern Pines and Becky Haywood of Sanford; one step-son, John Wayne Hudson, Jr. and wife, Mindy of Sanford; two step-daughters, Diane Thomas and husband, Mike of Lemon Springs and Jane Hudson of Sanford and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends and family may visit Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 between the hours of 2-5pm to sign the register.  Funeral services will be private.
