Henry Gaston Gales, III

Henry Gaston Gales, III, of Sanford, NC, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024 at his home.

He was born in Chatham County, NC on July 8, 1954 to the late Henry Gaston Gales, Jr. and Patricia Lane Beckwith Gales.  Henry was a loving Christian husband and father.  He was an active member of Grace Chapel Church where he volunteered his talents to the AWANA program and helping with the videos and cameras.  He worked many years for Duke Energy as an electrician and instrument control technician.

He is survived by his wife Catherine “Cathy” Carroll Gales; twin daughters Kelsey Gales of Charlotte, Kaitlyn Gales Fisher (Eric) of Sanford; brother Don Gales (Julie) of Sweetwater, TN and many extended family and friends.  He loved his twin daughters and wife more than anything.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Grace Chapel Church with Rev. Joel Murr officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  There will be no formal visitation but you may visit at the family home.
