Harrison Kennedy Obituary

Harrison Carnell Kennedy, age 88, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.

He was born September 4, 1931 near Robbins, NC. The son of the late Jerusha Maness Kennedy and John Spinks Kennedy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Grace Wilson Kennedy and second wife Shelby Womack Kennedy; his daughter Audrey Jean Kennedy; one son Terry Lynn Kennedy; step-daughter Rosemary Faulkner; sisters Nannie May Kennedy, Aitha Kennedy and Thelma Kennedy; brothers Harold Kennedy and John Lewis Kennedy and one niece Helen Brewer.

Mr. Kennedy is survived by stepsons Jimmy Womack and Milton Womack of Sanford; one niece Hazel Blake and two nephews Farrell Kennedy and David Kennedy.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Sandra Jones officiating.
