Harold Steve Rhodes

Harold Steve Rhodes age 73, of Sanford, NC, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 25, 2024 at home. He was born in Lee County, NC on November 3, 1950 to the late Ayden Rhodes  and Minder Richardson Rhodes.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Brian Rhodes, brother Jerry Rhodes, sister Melba Doris Douglas. Harold loved spending time outdoors, gardening, River trips, snake hunts. He enjoyed a good game of shooting pool., He loved his family especially his grandchildren.  He will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughters, Melinda Dowd (Lee) of Sanford, Deeandra Chisenhall (Patrick) of Sanford.  Brother Thomas Wayne of Clayton. grandchildren.  Joley McRae (Austin), Kayla Covarrubia (Cory), Madison Chisenhall, Bryant Chisenhall, Natalie Chisenhall, Luke Chisenhall. Great-grandchild Miles McRae.

A Graveside service will be held Thursday May 30, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Buffalo Cemetery with Rev.  Joe Monk officiating.
