Grace L (Brown) Woolard

Grace Brown Woolard, age 100, died December 27, 2021 at her home.

Mrs. Woolard was born in Harnett County, on Feb. 7, 1921, to the late Joseph Lamar Brown and Katie Thomas Brown.  She was preceded in death by her husband John Woolard; brothers, Fred and Hulon Brown; and sisters, Stella Mashburn and Nellie Gilmore.  In addition to a homemaker she also worked as a Secretary for a gas company.

Surviving relatives include her daughter Grace Seawell and son-in-law Mike of Goldston; a sister Dorothy Yarborough and Benjamin of Sanford; two grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

The family will greet friends in the church fellowship hall at Carbonton United Methodist Church on Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, after the service.  A graveside service will be held at 3PM.
