Glenda Marks Duncan, age 81, of Linden, NC, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025 at Valley Hospice House in Fayetteville, NC.
She was born in Lee County on October 23, 1943 to the late Waymond Edwin Marks and Ruby Faulk Marks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Hal Duncan and Douglas Little; daughter Wanda Nunnery and grandson Bryant Parnell. Glenda was well-known, having worked over 45 years as a manager for the Sadler Travel Plaza Convenience Store in Dunn, NC. She was a member of Cameron Hill Presbyterian Church. What was most important to her was her family and her church.
Glenda is survived by her children Pamela Haden of Linden, Karen Parnell (Robert Skipper) of Stedman, Rodney Duncan of Linden; sister Sadie Flynn (A.G.) of Cameron; brother Edwin Marks (Pat) of Cameron; grandchildren Jeremy Nunnery, Jonathan Parnell, Lindsey Skipper, Kari-Leigh Duncan, Dannon Duncan and numerous great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service of Glenda’s life will be held at Cameron Hill Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to her church Outreach Program, 467 NC-24, Cameron, NC 28326.
