Mrs. Geraldine Frances Brown Zurcher, age 72, of Sanford, N.C. passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020, at her home.

She was born in Norfolk County, Virginia on March 26, 1948, to the late Garland Washington Brown and Betty Augusta Collins Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Wayne Brown.

Mrs. Zurcher is survived by her husband, Spencer Leo Zurcher, 2 sons, Charles Thompson of Sanford, N.C. and James Thompson of Rockingham, N.C.; a step-son, William Zurcher of Emerald Isle, N.C.; a step-daughter, Carol Coppo and husband, Scott of Rocky Point, N.C.; a brother, Garland Brown and wife, Iris of Sophia; two sisters, Barbara Buchanan of Great Bridge, VA. and Vicki Acosta of Thomasville, N.C. and three step grandchildren, Hayden Plotner of Rocky Point, N.C., Brandi Zurcher of Hickory, N.C. and Alex Smith and husband, Ryan of Greenville, N.C.
