Gerald Scott Nowell

Gerald Scott Nowell, age 65, of Sanford, passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 after a short illness.

He was born on May 20, 1954 to the late William Oliver Nowell and Geneva Beeson Nowell.  Gerald worked for many years at Lee Paving Company.  He enjoyed meeting new friends each week at his flea market.

In addition to his mother, Gerald is survived by his brothers, Shelton Nowell of Sanford and Dennis Edward Nowell and wife, Janice of Sanford and several special nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Center United Methodist Church with Rev. Robert Thomas officiating.  Friends will be received at his mother’s home.
