George Phillip Davis, age 78, of Sanford, NC died Friday, July 31, 2020 at his home.
He was born in Marion County, SC on March 4, 1942 to the late Joe Bruce Davis and Gladys Edwards Davis. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Joe Bruce Davis, Jr. and sister Marjorie Holleman. George was a bank examiner.
He is survived by sons Kevin Davis and wife Terri of Sharpsburg, GA, Michael Davis and wife Jodi of Nesquehoning, PA and grandchildren Madeline, Ellison and Stephen Davis.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 9, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home. There will be no formal services.
