Doris Brigman Obituary

Doris Evangeline Benfield Brigman, age 85, of Grover, NC, formally of Sanford, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020.

She was born in Gaston County on December 11, 1934 to the late Kenny Benfield and Alice Mays Benfield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Brigman, Sr.; son, Bobby Gene Somerset; one brother and three sisters.

Mrs. Brigman is survived by her son, Claude Brigman, Jr. and wife, Patricia Lynn of Stoney Point; son, James Daniel Somerset of Sanford; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and one and one-half great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Lee Memory Gardens with Rev. Crystal Childers officiating.
