Donna Mae (Cole) Shaw

Donna Mae Cole Shaw, age 80, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on August 31, 2025.

She was born on February 23, 1945 to the late Earl Cole and Lizzie Mae Holt Cole.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers William Cole and Wayne Cole.  

Donna found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—spending time at the beach, browsing her favorite shops, loving on her fur babies and most of all, spending cherished time with her family. Her love and devotion to those around her were evident in every moment she shared.  She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and lasting memories for her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Jimmy; sons Raymond Shaw and wife Marian and Dean Shaw, all of Sanford and grandchildren James Shaw and wife Bayley, Victoria Perez and husband Michael and Keaton Shaw.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM.  The graveside service will follow at 4:30 PM at Grace Chapel Church Cemetery with Pastor Joel Murr and Travis Corley officiating.

The Shaw family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the entire FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care team for the excellent care and genuine compassion they showed Donna.
