Diane Stanley Jackson

Diane Stanley Jackson, age 68, of Sanford, passed away peacefully at the SECU Jim & Betsy Bryan UNC Hospice Home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

She was born on September 2, 1956 to the late George Stanley and  Catherine Meeks Stanley.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by  her grandmother Lucy Meeks.  Diane worked many years cleaning homes and worked hard at a job that she took great pride in and truly enjoyed.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping and trips to the beach.

Diane is survived by her loving husband of 35 years Charles Jackson; daughters, Amy Jacobs (John) and Alyssa Davis (Justin); brothers Lanny Stanley (Brenda) and Darrell Stanley (Shirley); five grandchildren Abigail Thornton (Dalton), Adeline Jacobs, Audrey Jacobs,  Ada Davis and Lucy Davis and three great-grandchildren Braydon Thornton, Rhett Kiser, Lakelynn Thornton and one on the way.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 6, 2024 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Solid Rock Community Church.  A celebration of her life will follow at 3:00 PM with Pastor Brad Marona, Preacher Mike Oldham and Josh Smith officiating.
