Diane DeGroat Obituary

Diane Laurie Colfax DeGroat, age 65, of Sanford, NC died Sunday, November 15, 2020 at her home after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Morris County, New Jersey on September 2, 1955 to the late William Colfax and Joan Sisco Colfax. Diane loved feeding birds and watching old movies – especially classic black and white movies. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors with her husband.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Albert DeGroat of Sanford; daughter, Heather Thomas and husband, Donald of Sanford and brothers, William Colfax and Steven Colfax both of New Jersey.
